With studios in Nokomis, Florida and Tryon, North Carolina, Missi & Co specializes in full-service new build and top-to-bottom renovations. Our design work honors the personalities of our clients and their unique needs. Your home should feel like you – created in good taste and with good balance.

We create beautiful environments that reflect the lifestyle and values of their inhabitants. We are a passionate team of skilled designers who care about each project no matter how big or small because we believe, above all, design matters.

The Team

Missi Youngblood

Principal Designer, CEO

Helping her father build and renovate homes for resale and investment while growing up, Missi Youngblood developed a passion for design. Realizing that professional success hinged on education, she studied interior design, received her degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia and was hired as a commercial designer with a turn-key Atlanta firm upon graduation.

After a few successful career-building years in Atlanta and South Carolina, she relocated to Florida. From 2002 through 2009 she owned The Dream Home Coach in historic Old Englewood Village. Serving clients from Sarasota to Boca Grande, including the Keys, she worked with developers and builders as well as individual homeowners and investors.

In 2009 she returned to her home state of South Carolina and continued her design work from the South Carolina coast to the North Carolina mountains until her return to Venice.

In 2023, she opened Missi & Co in Nokomis, FL and in 2025 she opened her second location in Tryon, NC.

Her work has been recognized by Sarasota Magazine, SRQ magazine and South Carolina Homes & Gardens magazine. Missi is a member of the Interior Design Society (IDS) and has won numerous awards in international design competitions.

Jessica Singer

Lead Designer

Jessica happened across her talent naturally after managing personal remodel/build projects and being summoned by friends and family.

With her unique background in event coordinating and then 15 years in marketing and advertising, she brings a professional and creative approach to what we do at Missi & Co.

Jessica is techy, organized, and has an eye for design … a rare combination!

Besh Fleeman

Business Manager

Besh has built her experience ‘behind the scenes’ over the last seven years working in hotel management. Missi and Besh are a dynamic mother-daughter duo!

Besh’s superpower is being organized and detail-oriented when it comes to scheduling, invoicing, procurement and order tracking so the design team can stay focused on their creative process.

Kelsey SPRATT

Junior Designer

Kelsey was born and raised in Western New York and received a degree in Interior Design from Alfred State College in Alfred, NY. She brings knowledge of structural design and has experience with space planning and material selections for new construction homes.

Her proficiency in technical skills involves creating construction documents with AutoCAD and 3D renderings with Sketchup brings a unique set of skills to the team.

Jacqueline Rent

Gallery Manager, Tryon

Jacqueline began her interior design journey at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she developed a passion for operations and showroom management. Her experience spans vendor representation and trade showroom leadership in NYC, with career stops across the Midwest, California, Florida, and now North Carolina.

Known for her calm demeanor and positive energy, she brings warmth and efficiency to every client experience.

Christy Ward

Lead Designer, Tryon

Christy’s passion for interior design and construction developed while she was studying for her marketing degree, during which she worked as an assistant for a high-end designer in Belleair, FL.
She further expanded her expertise in visual merchandising and design while living in the Tampa Bay Area. A later move to Tryon, NC, allowed her to reconnect with her love for design. There, she quickly immersed herself in the local design scene, breathing new life into homes with an intentional, thoughtful approach to each project—always accompanied by her warm smile and positive spirit.

Annslee Kilgore

Design & Showroom Assistant, Tryon

Annslee is a Polk County native and a proud graduate of Polk County High School, Class of 2023. With a strong interest in interior design and a keen eye for detail, she is eager to begin her journey as an interior design & showroom assistant. Annslee is committed to learning, growing, and contributing to the creation of thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
